Vlog #4: O-World in Liveaction

These acts were kind of entertaining, but not so great.  They just happened to come first. The really cool stuff is after the jump, so check that out.

Vlog 4.1: K-popalicious from Chine Anikwe on Vimeo.
These ladies danced to a very popular Korean girl band song, though I can not for the life of me figure out who sings it! Anyway, you see this a lot in Korea... inside stores, on the streets. Girls dancing and "singing" to the tune of hit K-pop bands. Quite catchy, no?

Vlog 4.2: And now for the highkicks from Chine Anikwe on Vimeo.
I'm not quite sure what this act was doing in a semi-popular Korean amusement park/zoo, but it was quite entertaining.

Vlog 4.3: This lady was awesome from Chine Anikwe on Vimeo.
The absolute highlight of the show. Skill, actual skill. A nice change from mediocre dance moves and lip syncing.

Vlog 4.4: Watch out for those turns! from Chine Anikwe on Vimeo.
This rollercoaster looked innocent. Alas, it was a lot faster, higher, and scarier than i ever imagined... get ready for the rollercoaster of DEATH!

Music Monday: Epik Comback

Added bonus to album purchasers, that symbol on the bottom right is an ACTUAL guitar pick with 99 density. By the time I started listening to Korean music, they were already on an extended hiatus. Their latest album has proven that good things come to those who wait. It wins the award for album of the year in my opinion (BIG BANG's Alive and Still Alive were EPs and special editions respectively). I don't know if there was a blue moon when they were recording, because every song on the album is perfection. I love the way they rap over different genres. Sometimes alternative rock, sometimes electronic, sometimes pop, sometimes R&B, etc. It's a great combination and reintroduces the genre in a different way. Even if you're not into rap (or listening to a song you may not u...

Why I will never drive in Korea: Reason #32

I honestly don't know how this happened, but I'm really not that surprised. My theory is the first car was stopped, and the second car slowly continued to push forward? Look at that angle! I would not want to get out of that car. AWKWARD. More pics after the jump!

Throwback Thursday: We're Going to the Puzzle Place!

A little late this week, but it's worth it. I looooooved this show as a kid. Thank you PBS. If you're still around after this election, please continue making shows like this.
