I'm swine, how are you?

Sooooo, it turns out that the doctor may have been right about the whole flu thing.. go figure.  Not only did I work through the pain all last week without treatment, but developed bronchitis and mysteriously half of Purple class (one of about 4 groups of classes that I teach) was absent last Friday.  Something about the flu.  Anyway, I still maintain the fact that they gave it to me.  Now, I'm holed up in my apartment for 7 days (well, about 4 more now) because in SK, anyone who contracts the disease must quarantine themselves for 7 days to protect the general public. Sigh.

What have I been doing for these past few days? Mostly sleeping. And watching both good and bad TV.  Example of good TV? The Real Housewives of New York City 2 (haha, sooo good). Bad TV? Ghost Whisperer... I am still so ashamed.  Also! I've been reading through these FABULOUS magazines that Jo sent me and eating chocolate and cookies... and then feeling like I'm going to throw up because, hey, I still have the flu here!  I've also been playing the Sims 3 and wondering if I should start this Farmville FB application that everyone seems to be obsessed with. I've also been online shopping... well not actually shopping, but browsing... seriously, seriously browsing.

Anyway, I can't lie that is has been nice having a break from the little runts at work, but I think I actually miss them! I'll be glad to go out this weekend and then see them (hopefully all in good health) next Monday. In the meantime I think I'll watch more Korean dramas where I don't understand what's going on.

Music Monday: Epik Comback

Added bonus to album purchasers, that symbol on the bottom right is an ACTUAL guitar pick with 99 density. Genius, though I think I could only use it with my bass... which I never pick... it's still genius! Epik High's name has always been around, but I never listened to their songs. By the time I started listening to Korean music, they were already on an extended hiatus. Their latest album has proven that good things come to those who wait. It wins the award for album of the year in my opinion (BIG BANG's Alive and Still Alive were EPs and special editions respectively). I don't know if there was a blue moon when they were recording, because every song on the album is perfection. I love the way they rap over different genres. Sometimes alternative rock, sometimes electronic, sometimes pop, sometimes R&B, etc. It's a great combination and reintroduces the genre in a different way. Even if you're not into rap (or listening to a song you may not u...

Why I will never drive in Korea: Reason #32

I honestly don't know how this happened, but I'm really not that surprised. My theory is the first car was stopped, and the second car slowly continued to push forward? Look at that angle! I would not want to get out of that car. AWKWARD. More pics after the jump!
