Vlog 3: This is why I love this bar!

Sponge Bar.  Located in New Downtown Daejeon.  The atmosphere is great, the people are nice and it caters to Westerners, so you can always meet someone new.  That's all nice and everything, but the real draw is the bartenders.  They make excellent cocktails and go out of their way to do really kickass things.  Example: this freaking awesome video shot on my birthday (bonus points there). People, take note. This is how it's done.

Music Monday: Epik Comback

Added bonus to album purchasers, that symbol on the bottom right is an ACTUAL guitar pick with 99 density. Genius, though I think I could only use it with my bass... which I never pick... it's still genius! Epik High's name has always been around, but I never listened to their songs. By the time I started listening to Korean music, they were already on an extended hiatus. Their latest album has proven that good things come to those who wait. It wins the award for album of the year in my opinion (BIG BANG's Alive and Still Alive were EPs and special editions respectively). I don't know if there was a blue moon when they were recording, because every song on the album is perfection. I love the way they rap over different genres. Sometimes alternative rock, sometimes electronic, sometimes pop, sometimes R&B, etc. It's a great combination and reintroduces the genre in a different way. I honestly don't know how this happened, but I'm really not that surprised. My theory is the first car was stopped, and the second car slowly continued to push forward? Look at that angle! I would not want to get out of that car. AWKWARD. More pics after the jump!
